Sherwood Gardens is a progressive and inclusive venue welcoming traditional as well as non traditional weddings and ceremonies. The 10 acre grounds, located in the City of Plainwell, offers conveniences including nearby hotels, while maintaining a secluded natural environment.

The full weekend estate rental includes 3 days and 2 nights lodging providing guests with a relaxed experience and ample time for preparations, celebrations, and cleanup. Weekend Estate Rental includes full use of the Event Barn, grounds, and house.

The 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom house sleeps up to 16 guests, perfect for family and wedding parties to stay for the weekend and a perfect space for wedding parties to get ready.

Weekend stays allow parties additional time in the Event Barn for set up, decorating, and rehearsal dinner, as well as clean up.

The expansive grounds include several colorful flower gardens as well as open lawns with wooded surroundings creating a picturesque outdoor space for ceremonies and entertaining guests.

Included on the grounds is a wooden arbor that can be moved and decorated, ample parking, and a separate lavatory building.

The Event Barn can host and seat up to 150 guests on the main floor, with space for food, bar, seating, and dancing. The numerous large opening barn doors and plentiful unique windows, combined with indoor party lights make the space bright and beautiful no matter the weather or time of day. The upstairs loft has a built in stage and is a charming space for additional seating, games, music, or can be used as an indoor ceremony site.
